In which we get a nature fix in a big way.



While we're on the topic of scenic German landscapes, here are some views from the curvacious Sauerland region, where friends (adorable small child included) were visited a few weekends ago. 'Bout a four+ hour drive from Hamburg. Rolling and rollicking hills, greens spotted with various shades of wildflower, scrumptious cloudscapes, villages tucked away in valleys, bendy, silver beech forests and everywhere raspberries primed for plucking.

(The first sign is a wild swine cautioning you to stay on the path; the second has cute little teddy bears forbidding you from fishing in the nearby pond.) Now commenceth the photodump:
