In which we do some grovey time travel.

There are some great groves near where I work, and now that I've been there for over a year, I've been able to observe them doing their tree thing throughout all five seasons...

Summer, fall, winter, spring, and campaign.

  1. Bother, Luddite-impaired here has just lost written comment; will try again.

This is lovely indeed, Margaret. Am touched by your chronicle of seasons in the groves of a great city. Bless the tree-planters.

Do you remember the scene, Sir Thomas More's Tower of London prison cell in "Man for All Seasons..." He pulls a little stool over to the high barred window and watches a small tree by the Thames through blossom, green, leaf fall and snowy winter, a passage of time.

Your keen eye reminds me--which led me to Eire and your marvelous photographic journey. Thank you. I know you work long EMF office hours. Your evocations of nature are all the more precious.
